Charity Curveballs are donation-based gameplay modifiers that add outrageous, safe, and temporary challenges – all in support of Sport Niagara.

Examples include:

  • Borat Onesie (over clothes) – $500
  • Sumo Suit (1 player per match max) – $500
  • Ball & Chain (ankle weights) – $300
  • Weak-Hand Only – $250
  • Spin-to-Win (dizzy starts) – $250

How The Game Works

  • Matches are 10 minutes of continuous play
  • Teams compete in multiple sets per match
  • Players are eliminated by live balls
  • Catching a ball brings a teammate back into play
  • The team winning the most sets winds the match
  • Blocking is permitted during the round robin play

    Gameplay & Safety Standards

All matches follow a Modified WDBF Ruleset, administered by Dodgeball Ontario.

To ensure fair play and safety:

    • All games are fully officiated
    • Standard court dimensions and boundaries are enforced
    • Crossing the centre line results in elimination
    • Safety-approved attire and footwear are required
    • Protective headgear is permitted
    • Unsafe equipment or behavior will not be allowed
